Legendary bands are reuniting and bringing their shows to local venues

Summer is approaching and musicians from every genre are gearing up to play shows at venues all across Southern California.
   Erykah Badu, Anberlin and Lucinda Williams will all be playing at smaller locations in Orange County, while the Honda Center will host Beyonce and Depeche Mode over the next three months.
   The Pacific Amphitheatre will also be home to headliners this summer including Duran Duran, Pat Benatar and the Black-Eyed Peas.
   No Doubt will share the stage with Paramore at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, which also hosts Coldplay, The Fray, Aerosmith and Snoop Dog playing shows throughout the season.
   If you’re willing to make the drive Judas Priest and Marco Antonio Solis are playing at the Gibson Amphitheatre.
   Catch Kris Allen and all your favorite Idols onstage at the Staples Center during the American Idols Live 2009 tour.
   For those interested in seeing multiple bands at once, famous festivals are back like the Vans Warped Tour, which will showcase bands like 3OH!3, Anti-Flag and Dance Gavin Dance. Fans of hardcore music can see Bane, Madball and Poison the Well at The Glass House in Pomona or the House of Blues in West Hollywood during the 10 for $10 Tour.
   Other artists will be on tour this summer and Websites like www.tourtracker.com are designed to inform people when and where your favorite bands are playing and how to get great last minute deals.
   So many artists on tour this summer will be music to everyone’s ears.
